Overview of the role:
The Senior Associate will be instrumental in sourcing, evaluating, and managing tech investments in high-potential startups. This role involves analyzing trends, supporting portfolio companies, and contributing to firm strategy. It is ideal for a tech-savvy, analytical professional passionate about startups and emerging technologies.
What you will be expected to perform:
1. Investment Sourcing & Evaluation
Identify and pursue early-stage technology investments.
Conduct market, competitor, and financial analysis to build data-driven insights.
Present investment opportunities and perform thorough due diligence on high-potential tech startups.
Collaborate with partners on deal structuring, term negotiation, and exit strategies.
2. Portfolio Management & Value Creation
Support portfolio companies with strategic guidance on growth, business development, and market expansion.
Assist founders in navigating operational challenges, including financial planning, talent acquisition, and product scaling.
Facilitate follow-on investment rounds by preparing relevant data and competitive analysis.
3. Startup Building & Thought Leadership
Engage in operations, including limited partner(s) communications, fund strategy, and investor updates.
Support tech events, networking initiatives, and community outreach to strengthen the brand(s).
Produce content and thought leadership pieces on tech investment trends and venture insights.
Qualifications and Requirements:
3-6 years of working experience, with at least 3 years in venture capital, tech-focused investment banking, or consulting.
Minimum MBA or CFA/CA Graduate
Proven expertise in tech ecosystems, financial modeling, and valuation techniques.
Strong networking skills with established relationships in the tech industry.
Exceptional analytical, presentation, and communication abilities.
Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and ability to collaborate with senior leadership.

Critical thinker who can balance quantitative analysis with qualitative insights for investment assessments.

Expertise in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
Strong analytical skills for market and competitor analysis.
Familiarity with due diligence processes and investment negotiation.
