As our Creative Director(GenAI-First), you’ll own the visual direction and asset execution for Disrupt.com’s entire portfolio. You’re not here to “brief” work - you’re here to create it, using tools like MidJourney, Ideogram, Figma AI, and Canva AI to rapidly prototype and scale visuals across every channel.
This is a high-impact, highly-creative role for someone who can translate brand archetypes into scroll-stopping design - and do it in hours, not weeks.
Define the visual identity of each brand alongside the Brand Strategist
Create scalable design systems using GenAI tools and prompt-based workflows
Lead art direction for everything from landing pages to launch videos to pitch decks
Build visual starter kits: logos, palettes, type systems, icon sets, UGC-ready visuals
Collaborate with Narrative PMM to ensure visual and verbal harmony across comms
Direct and execute creative testing workflows for paid, organic, and PR channels
Create templates and reusable creative systems for rapid venture scaling
Stay ahead of AI design trends, tools, and automation stacks
12+ years in brand design, art direction, or creative strategy
Portfolio that demonstrates taste, variety, storytelling, and motion/design chops
Deep working knowledge of MidJourney, Ideogram, and Figma AI plug-ins
Experience working on fast-moving brand or startup launches
Ability to direct GenAI outputs and refine them to professional design standards
Strong grasp of layout, typography, hierarchy, and design systems at scale
A high-velocity visual thinker who thrives in ambiguity
A hands-on maker who doesn’t wait for permission to ship
Passionate about the intersection of design, culture, and technology
Extremely fast, but never sloppy
Comfortable collaborating directly with founders, PMMs, and growth teams
