Overview of the role:
The Finance Business Partner for our Co-build & Invest function will support all Commercial & Finance activities. They will support the leadership team members in decision making for the venture builder organization as well as assist with investment activity.
What you will be expected to perform:
The incumbent will support the Leadership with the following activity:
- Providing all finance input into the decision making process for Co-Build and Invest (Business Lines)
- Assist the HRBP on allocations of staff and ensuring accuracy of reporting for the business lines
- Review and support founders of the different entities in understanding thier financial numbers and trouble shooting any issues that may arise.
- Help develop the approval and review documents for all entities and participate on all periodic reviews of the various business lines as well as entities.
- Ensure effective coordination with the Central finance team and Founders for ensuring accuracy in Record to report process.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Tertiary Finance qualification (MBA, CA, ACCA, CIMA) with relevant work experience of 6-7 years with at least 2 years in a Business finance role.
Hands on skills in Finance tools (MS Office, Quick books and data base ) with a strong focus on data analytics.
Experience with an ERP implementation will be a plus.
You should be:
Strong Communication skills (written & Spoken) and the ability to effectively communicate across the organization.
Good understanding of Commercial aspects of a business and be able to effectively work with Commercial teams across the Business lines.
