Overview of the role:

Financial Controller/Finance Advisor shall be responsible for overseeing accounting and financial reporting functions across two businesses. The role includes ensuring robust financial controls, compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial insights.

Expectations from the role:

  • Oversee the finalization of financial statements for both entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance with applicable accounting standards, and timely submission in line with internal and external reporting deadlines.

  • Manage all statutory and regulatory financial reporting requirements, including the preparation and submission of reports to relevant authorities, while ensuring adherence to evolving legal and compliance standards.

  • Implement and continuously refine management accounting structures within the accounting system, to enable accurate, timely, and insightful reporting that supports strategic decision-making across both businesses.

  • Conduct regular reviews of the internal control framework across both organizations, identifying potential weaknesses and implementing enhancements to strengthen governance, risk management, and operational efficiency.

  • Provide comprehensive financial, commercial, and risk-related advisory to senior leadership, offering insights that support strategic planning, performance optimization, and proactive risk mitigation.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Chartered Accountant (ACA), ideally from a Big 4 firm.
  • 2-3 years of post-qualification industry experience in an environment with an ERP (SAP or MS Dynamics is preferred) 
  • Strong written and spoken Communication skills
  • Advanced user of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Power BI is a strong plus.
