Overview of the role:

The Head of Creative at Disrupt.com is responsible for leading the Brand Creative Team and executing all creative initiatives across the organization. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, you will manage and develop a team of designers, copywriters, freelancers, producers, and external partners. This role requires a strategic thinker who can deliver impactful ideas in a fast-paced environment, with a deep understanding of creative trends in technology and expertise in branding, advertising, and digital platforms.

Expectations from the role:

Lead the Creative Team: Provide clear goals and direction, inspiring and motivating team members to excel and push creative boundaries.

Brand Expression: Own the expression of the Disrupt.com Venture Studio brand through powerful creative ideas.

Collaborate Across Sectors: Work with marketing leaders to translate briefs into compelling creative solutions, ensuring brand consistency.

Present Creative Work: Articulate the brief, strategy, ideas, design decisions, and how they align with business objectives during presentations.

Foster Creative Excellence: Build a culture of creativity by mentoring team members to achieve world-class output.

Partner on Budgeting and Management: Collaborate with HQ Marketing and venture marketing teams on budgeting, project management, and people management.

Explore New Practices: Work closely with Marketing Teams to understand design needs and identify efficiencies.

Oversee Brand Guidelines: Ensure consistency across all channels in alignment with brand standards.

Qualification and Experience:

10+ years of experience in brand and performance campaigns for tech brands, delivering high-volume campaigns.

Bachelor’s degree from a design or art institute.

Proven leadership experience in in-house consumer marketing, with a background in developing and scaling teams.

Proficient understanding of creative across channels, including social platform best practices and user acquisition KPIs.

A robust portfolio showcasing successful 360-degree creative work and world-class campaigns across multiple channels and territories.

Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to inspire trust and confidence at senior levels.

Demonstrated ability to lead, grow, and retain a team while being hands-on.

Experience in goal setting, task delegation, team accountability, and providing meaningful feedback.

Ability to stay attuned to cultural trends related to social, brand, and content relevance.

Strong team leader with a consistent track record of cross-functional leadership and partnership.

High degree of self-motivation and autonomy, taking initiative and involving stakeholders as needed.

Positive, committed, and flexible with a 'can-do' attitude.

A problem solver and forward thinker, comfortable in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.

Experience in B2B and working with startup founders and teams is a significant plus.
