Overview of the role:
As an AI-First Junior Product Designer with a strong focus on User Experience Research (UXR), you will play a key role in translating user insights into innovative product experiences. You will work closely with senior designers, product managers, engineers, and data scientists to explore how AI can shape user behaviors and deliver seamless, intelligent interactions.
What you will be expected to perform:

Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to understand customer needs, behaviors, and pain points.

Design and execute research plans, including interviews, usability testing, and surveys.

Analyze research data and translate insights into actionable design recommendations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design AI-driven experiences that are intuitive and user-centric.

Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.

Contribute to the development and refinement of design systems for AI-first products.

Advocate for user needs throughout the product development lifecycle.

Stay updated on emerging AI trends and how they impact user experience design.
Qualifications and Requirements:

User-Centric Approach: Deliver designs that are rooted in deep user insights and enhance AI-driven experiences.

Research Rigor: Conduct and synthesize comprehensive research that directly informs design decisions.

Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and deliver impactful solutions.

Innovation: Apply emerging AI technologies to push the boundaries of user experience.

Communication: Clearly articulate research findings and design rationales to diverse stakeholders.
You should be:

1 year of experience in product design, UX design, or user research (internships count).

Strong understanding of UXR methodologies, including both qualitative and quantitative approaches.

Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.

Ability to synthesize complex research findings into clear, actionable insights.

Curiosity and a growth mindset, especially in learning how AI influences design.

Excellent communication skills to present research findings and design concepts.

Experience with prototyping AI-driven interactions (a plus, but not required).
Dimensions and Supplementary Information:

Tools & Technology: Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, and other design and prototyping tools. Experience with user research platforms (e.g., UserTesting, Lookback) is a plus.

Methodologies: Knowledge of human-centered design, usability testing, and both qualitative and quantitative research methods.

AI Knowledge: Familiarity with how AI models work and their impact on user experiences is a strong advantage.
