Overview of the role:
- The Manager – Infrastructure and Security holds a pivotal role in architecting, implementing, and optimizing a secure, high-performance, and scalable IT infrastructure that empowers the organization’s growth and operational excellence. This role ensures always-on connectivity, resilient systems, and robust cybersecurity, while embedding AI-driven insights and automation to enhance service delivery and business agility.
- As a strategic and technical leader, the Manager combines deep hands-on expertise in network architecture, cloud platforms, enterprise systems, and security frameworks with a strong focus on driving innovation and operational reliability. The role also champions an extreme customer-centric mindset, ensuring that every solution is designed with the end-user experience in focus.

Expectations from the role:
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure for high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Manage and optimize on-premises and cloud-based solutions (Azure, Google Cloud, Office 365).
- Oversee server hardware, virtualization platforms, and storage solutions (SAN, NAS).
- Develop disaster recovery plans, ensuring business continuity and data integrity.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and automation tools to improve efficiency and cost optimization.
- Oversee day-to-day network operations, managing and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Design, implement, and enforce network security policies, safeguarding against cyber threats.
- Monitor and optimize network performance (bandwidth utilization, throughput, latency, response times).
- Lead incident response activities for security breaches and network vulnerabilities.
- Implement intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and endpoint security solutions.
- Facilitate risk assessments and compliance initiatives (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, CIS benchmarks).
- Lead infrastructure, network, and security projects, including upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical expertise for IT projects.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship, guiding best practices, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering professional growth.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system and network documentation to support audits and compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with network, security, and cloud service vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring optimal support.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to align infrastructure and security strategies with business objectives.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical cases requiring after-hours support.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure, networks, and security administration.
- Strong expertise in networking (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols) and network security (firewalls, VPNs).
- Hands-on experience with server management (Windows, Linux), virtualization, and storage solutions (SAN, NAS).
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud environments.
- Knowledge of security compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR) and disaster recovery planning.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and automation tools (Ansible, Intune, PowerShell, Python).
- Relevant certifications such as MCSE, RHCE, or equivalent are highly desirable, Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, ITIL, or similar are advantageous.
