Overview of the role:

The Program Strategy Associate will be heavily involved in the execution of day-to-day operations in the venture-building program. Their primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth and efficient implementation of strategic initiatives, tracking milestones, supporting market research, and assisting with various operational tasks to ensure that the program is meeting its objectives. They will work closely with other team members and stakeholders, maintaining a focus on timeliness, coordination, and follow-through on all deliverables.

What you will be expected to perform:

  • Flawless Execution of the Venture Builder 

Support in the daily operations and execution of the venture-building program by coordinating with internal teams to ensure all activities are running smoothly.

Assist in the implementation of strategic opportunities by executing the tasks outlined by leadership, aligning with program objectives.

Monitor program activities to ensure deadlines are met and processes are followed 

  • Tracking Milestones for Internal Ventures

Work closely with founders, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure milestones for ventures are being met.

Use project management tools (i.e. Clickup) to track and report progress against goals and deadlines.

Regularly check in with teams to ensure that progress is on track and escalate issues to leadership when necessary.

Maintain a clear record of milestones and deliverables, updating key stakeholders on status and any changes in timelines.

  • Market Research 

Assist in the execution of market research, including gathering data on trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.

Compile market research reports and competitive landscape analyses to help inform decision-making.

Track and update research findings regularly, ensuring the team has the latest data for evaluations and planning.

  • Plan and coordinate Venture Builder activities 

Ensure that program materials (educational resources, training documents) are prepared and distributed to the relevant stakeholders.

Maintain and organize program documentation and materials to ensure consistency and accessibility across teams.

Coordinate logistics and administrative tasks for program events, workshops, and training sessions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: 4-5 years of experience in early stage ventures, high growth business, consulting, or economic development. 

You should be:

 

  • Project Coordination: Ability to track multiple projects, ensure timelines are met, and deliverables are achieved.

  • Attention to Detail: Focus on execution, ensuring that all aspects of the program are carried out thoroughly and accurately.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for liaising between teams and stakeholders, ensuring smooth information flow.

  • Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

  • Problem-Solving: Address challenges or bottlenecks quickly, facilitating solutions to keep the program moving forward.

  • Collaboration: Strong team player, willing to assist across different functions and teams to ensure the success of the program.

  • Process-Oriented: Ability to follow established processes and help ensure consistent execution across the program.
