Overview of the role:

As a Product Designer at Disrupt Labs, you'll create intuitive, engaging digital experiences, working closely with product teams, engineers, and stakeholders to rapidly prototype, test, and refine product concepts. Reporting directly to the Head of Design, you'll be a pivotal member of our dynamic, innovative design department, contributing actively to the full product lifecycle.

Expectations from the role:

  • Develop user-centered design solutions through wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and integrate findings into design improvements.

  • Collaborate effectively with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align designs with user needs and business goals.

  • Maintain and evolve our design systems and visual standards.

  • Provide ongoing design support and iterative improvements based on analytics and user feedback.

  • Advocate for user-centric design principles throughout the organization.

  • Clearly communicate design ideas, concepts, and rationale to cross-functional teams.

  • Continuously stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enrich our design approach.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Design, HCI, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in UI/UX or product design.

  • Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and interactive prototyping tools.

  • Demonstrable experience conducting user research and usability testing.

  • Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML/CSS).

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

  • Portfolio demonstrating impactful, user-centered design solutions.
